Another week in the competitive Age of Sigmar circuit: eight Grand Tournaments spread across the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway and Germany, with close to 1,500 games played. With that volume of data on the table, here’s what the week left us with.

Cities of Sigmar, faction of the week once again. Not only is it by far the most-played faction in the meta (48 players, well ahead of Seraphon and Sylvaneth), it also walked away with three of the week’s eight GTs: Alden Plows crowned it with a perfect 5-0 at Realmshift Series – Chapter 2, Dylan Therriault did the same at Summer Slaughter (also 5-0), and Ole Vatland completed the poker hand at Sagahammer 2026 with a 4-0-1. Three championships, three different lists (Swift Reinforcements, Zealous Hordes and Collegiate Exemplars), all starring Tahlia Vedra. With a 55.1% win rate across 198 games, the humans remain the benchmark to beat.

Fyreslayers, the standout stat of the week. With the best overall win rate in the meta (63.2% across 68 games) they were already turning heads in the weekly statistics, but Philip Springall underlined it on the table: a perfect 8-0 at the Warhammer Open Newport, an eight-round tournament. A flawless performance from a faction that’s been topping the win-rate charts for several weeks running.

Podiums and perfect streaks. Besides Cities and Fyreslayers, the week saw several 5-0 runs: Thomas Burgett won the Mile High Open with Sons of Behemat (King Brodd’s Stomp), and “Dome” took the Huxleys Open with Hedonites of Slaanesh (Depraved Carnival, with Shalaxi Helbane as the master piece). At the Nashcon GT there was a three-way tie at the top: Mike McAbee (Maggotkin of Nurgle), Christopher Gropp (Slaves to Darkness with Be’lakor) and Walter Brock (Lumineth Realm-lords), all three finishing 5-0, ultimately settled by battle points in McAbee’s favour. At the Realmgate Clash GT, Luke Evans pulled off a surprise, taking Ossiarch Bonereapers to victory (4-1) despite it being one of the weaker factions in the overall meta.

Ups and downs in the stats. Behind Fyreslayers, the rest of the week’s top win rates were made up by Blades of Khorne (57.6%), Idoneth Deepkin (58.8%, with only 12 players), Lumineth Realm-lords (58.6%) and Nighthaunt (58.1%) — all factions with low representation but performing well above average. At the other end, Skaven (36.5%) and Ossiarch Bonereapers (36.6%) close out the table, closely followed by Stormcast Eternals (40.3%), which, despite being one of the most-played factions of the week (44 players), still hasn’t found consistency in its results.
